Today i am going to introduce you a very famous restaurant in Taipei 

Melange Cafe 

Melange is definitely my favourite waffle place in Taipei, actually, anywhere.
but every time i went there, i waited for approximately  an hour !!!! 
Every time  the line there  is so crazy!!!
The first time i went there, i really don't know why 
there are so many people wait for so long to eat here .. 


the cafe don't take reservations and if you miss your number , 
YOU HAVE TO LINE UP ALL OVER AGAIN !!

so this means you have to be there physically when the waiters calls 

out you number.

once i ordered and got the things on my table, i  realize that why 

people would be willing to line up for such  a long time for this place !

the waffle and beverages here are so great!!!

The menu is very special, cute !

It was amazing that the Strawberries were exaggerative big.

The Strawberries not only looked good but also tasted delicious.

the portion is very big !!

The Waffles were so solid.

There were four pieces; I only ate three pieces of them.

i love this very much !!

this  tasted really great,  had a lot of present cut fruit.

I also could drink granadilla, orange, baby orange and preserved pineapple.

The wait will be a bit long if you go for afternoon tea on a weekend, 
but they've opened a second cafe just a couple of shops away and t
he queues are now very reasonable. 
I would definitely suggest this place.

Chai Lin restaurant

Today i am going to introduce you somethings different !  Chai Lin restaurant
Chai Lin restaurant is a Hong Kong restaurant, located on the 16th floor of the
 Sogo Department store in Taichung.
The restaurant serves contemporary Cantonese Chinese cuisine
with views overlooking the Taichung downtown.

 

Go inside, the main dining area is typical Cantonese-Chinese style
with lots of families and group of people eating together.

 

The staff comes aroung with trolley and pushing from table to table.

you and pick the food you want !

The barbecue pork bun filling was sweet, porky.

This was so great !!!!!

OH!! this is my favorite!!

these are subtle and exquisite, well cooked and not

overdone!!

it was very taste !

 if you go to Hong kong restaurant, You must order this !!

the shrimps are very fresh!

This is coated with a mayonnaise-based sauce

It taste ok !

you can eat with soy sauce

this include chopped vegetables, meat, and other ingredients.

Beneath the crusty wrapper was actually very moist but a bit salty.

overall i think the service is ok the food ....

Honestly....In my experience the food is just average,

compared to any other Hong Kong or Cantonese restaurant we have eaten in.

Shiang Shang dumplings

if you have chance, you must try this out!!
There are two reasons.

The dumpling is very cheappppp!!  this cost only 2.NT/ each.
The dumplings is very delicious !!!

Their dumplings are all very big and juicy!!!!

i think the dumplings taste very good, the skin of dumpling is just right,
not too soft and not too chewy. 
The Sweet & sour soup was a little bit starchy than i respected, 
but it was still very taste.

Din Tai Fung cuisine

Hello everyone today i am going to introduce you
a veryyyy famous Taiwanese restaurant  Din Tai Fung which is 
one of the ten gourmet restaurant of the world.  
Whenever the name DinTaiFung is mentioned, the first thing that
people think of is small, delicate steamed dumplings. 
I believe that everyone have heard about it. In addition, Dintaifung
serves some of the best cuisine in the world.

Few days ago, Taichung doesn't have the restaurant, but 
Din Tai Fung now is open in Taichung( Far Eastern Department Stores)
How luck we are :)))

They don't accept reservation so if you want to go to Din Tai Fung,

you have to go earlier than you don't have to wait for a long time.  

The Din Tai Fung is a famous Taiwanese restaurant,
 famous for its small steamed buns(xiao log bao).


They are many options for you, you can have dumplings,
noodle, appetizer, rice, soup,
bun, vegetable and dessert here.

This is very tasty, delicious and juicy.!!!

 Traditional Chicken Soup
The Traditional Chicken Soup uses crispy chicken
They add a little rice wine then each bowl is steamed for 2 hours.
A thin film of golden oil floats on the chicken soup that tastes sweet and refreshing.
 The stewing process also leaves the crispy
chicken very tender and many customers come just to order this hot chicken soup.



One more special thing I want to say, it gave
 me another surprise on their service.
They have special racks for you to put on your hand bag,
that you need not to occupy one more seat.  They even would use a
cloth to cover your handbag so as not to be dirtied by the dishes.

Hello everyone :)  It's about time for dinner, do you feel hungry?

today i am going to show you a Thai food restaurant " Thai Town Cuisine"

This Thai restaurant is very famous, i believe that many of you have heard about this restaurant. 

  The comfortable and beautiful environment with flowers

                They offer many options for you.
                you can choose A,B or C combo which
                they have arrange the meal for the customer.

 

 

 or  you can order by yourself, you can choose whatever you want. 
 There are many delicate appetizing dishes.
  ( actually the price of A,B,C combo are not cheaper  than single order.  )

 Thai food is known for its balance of three to four fundamental taste senses in each dish or the overall meal: sour, sweet, salty, and sometimes bitter.

The food here are all very spicy and sour.  very appetizing!

i remembered that the first time i visit the restaurant i ate almost three bowls of rice.
i have never eaten so much rice before!!  so you realize that how appetizing they are.

I think this is better than Taiwan rice.

Spicy Fried Greens with Shrimp Paste
This one is normal. the only food in the restaurant which is not spicy.

Green Curry Chicken in Coconut Sauce

This is one of the famous food in Thai. you must order this
very tasty, spicy and unique. 

 Thai Style Satay
 This dish is very appetizing. 
 chicken with special sauce, tomato makes chicken more flavor.

Fried Chicken Leg with Spicy Pepper Sauce
crispy and tasty, the spicy pepper sauce is great !!!!!

 Shrimp Pancake

This is the most popular Thai dish in Taiwan
i believe that everyone have eaten shrimp pancake before. 
The shrimp pancake here is extremely delicious.

The original pancake had a harder texture and was not as crunchy,
while the modified shrimp pancake was thicker, puffier, and more crispy.
(This one is modified)

Shrimp Vermicelli Pot
This is one is very popular in Thai Town Cuisine
The shrimp is very fresh and delicious.  
I recommand this :))

Spicy Chicken Hot Pot
A new dish in the restaurant.  
This is Speical and very spicy. it's worth to try.
